As the CEO of a tech company based in Minnesota since 1996, I can’t count the many number of times that I had to deal with negative/unethical people. From candidates lying on their resumes, to employees stealing equipment all the way through vendors stealing clients………I’ve seen it all. It is unfortunate, however; from my travels across the country, I’ve seen it in every State. While on the board for the Better Business Bureau, I learned that most people can be trusted. However, it seems that our society has slipped a few notches on the integrity scale the last 10 years. A lack of integrity has been around for generations, but it does seem to be getting worse in the business world. My advice. Trust, but verify. 🙂
