Agreed. Setting up a good technical security structure is no longer good enough.
My fellow CIO’s need to remember that cyber security includes physical security, good conference.
Unfortunately, those of us that deal with this are becoming hacker negotiators. Not good.
All good products but none can defend against internal exposure.

“Technology providers are way behind with effective marketing. Effective marketing should focus on generating leads because leads turn into more business.”
“Technology firms need to do more than just internet branding. The number one priority is becoming an expert in their areas of support. I would add local community engagements to this article.”

“Most businesses are saleable, but it often takes a year or two to get it into shape for a higher price. Streamlining operations and creating product sets with monthly reoccurring revenue always helps!”

After a lot of prayer, I decided to do go ahead and get legally recognized as an “ordained minister” with , Open Ministry; a church in California.(https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/?id=517). This is something that’s been on my heart for a long time.
At this point, I can perform weddings, solemnize marriages and be granted all rights and privileges of a minister.
Pretty Neat!
It’s interesting how many people say to me “wow, you’ve been through a lot of stressful legal things in your life.” Yes, it is true. I’ve tried to fight against a 60 Billion company for an entire industry – alone. I’ve tried to fight against a 4 Billion company to protect their other clients. I’ve served on the board of the BBB to help thousands of individuals (elderly/military). I even fought the law and the law won!
There is NOTHING more stressful and depressing than losing a brother. Within one year, I lost two great friends that were federal attorneys (Alfred Stanbury and Roger Magnuson), and my older brother. It was definitely a kick in the gut so-to-speak.
When I lost my older brother, I can tell you that all of my other issues in life became insignificant. Everything that happens to us as CEO’s can be fixed. Losing a brother, can’t be. Keep things in perspective as you see your loved ones…………………….give a HUGE hug and let’m know how much you love them!!!!!
